Our story

Teaching Perth to surf since 1986

A family business, nearly four decades of waves, and coaches who genuinely care how you go.

The world's oldest surf school

We're a family business, and we've been teaching people to surf at Scarborough Beach since 1986. That's nearly four decades of first waves, wipeouts and breakthroughs โ€” long enough to call ourselves the world's oldest surf school, and proud of it.

What's kept us going isn't just the beach (though Scarborough is one of Perth's best). It's the teaching. We run long, 2.25-hour lessons in small groups of four to six, because that's how people actually learn โ€” more waves, more feedback, more time on your feet.
